To understand spectroscopy, some basic theories of quantum dynamics, including time-dependent peturbation theory and linear response theory, would be introduced in this course. Then, the basic principles of spectroscopy would be established through solving the light-matter interaction Hamiltonian.

We would introduce some popular AI-based techniques for chemistry including neural network potential for molecular simulation, molecular representation models and AI for drug/material discovery.
